What can I say Sir Jello, your pictures have inspired me on pretty much a daily basis and your beard is a thing of awesome beauty (much like the wonderous landscapes you have surrounded yourself in). Peace be with you brother and hope to see you '09. It's never goodbye, its just till next time.
What's perhaps most impressive is that you do these shots for their own sake and not for the hope of reward (since you must know Mackle will win today).
Amazing work, glad Andrew has such a brilliant business partner and friend.
What more can be said of you and your greatness Sir Jellobeard? Not much that I am aware of.
You brought things to the table of Whiskerino that would never have existed had it been anyone else. You are an incredible talented and creative individual - I'm glad Whiskerino could help reinforce that fact.
You are a kind soul - that became obvious at the Throwdown. I am better off in life now having met you.
To my shame and regret, I never really commented as much as I wanted to, looking back. Your pictures had such a magically surreal quality that I was almost at a loss about what to say.
so amazing...all your photos...amazing. joel it was very good to have met you. the creativity you put into all your photos made me & everyone step it up. i really need to try your pepper spread as well. i have heard good things & anything with a label like that has to be awesomeness. not to mention your wedding site it one of the greatest things ive seen on the internet...so good. hope you bring that handlebar to moustache may.
Yep, You pretty much rule on the inernet and in real life and then some. Glad I can now call you a real life friend. We shall have to make arrangements for a meetup again somehow.
Throw me an email. matt
And the final capture I knew would not disappoint. Your devotion, your imagination, your humor have all been invaluable this past 4 months. Oh, did I mention that you've got a KILLER beard? Godspeed my friend, may we meet again.
Magical creatures are usually not musical. Look it up in the Magical Creatures Handbook for Laymen and Other People Who Are Interested in Magical Creatures. But he was out to defy everything about everything. He would sing the plankton to sleep before slowly digesting them. He would play in a band with his friends, who were all land dwellers. He would marry a beautiful dolphin one day, and the two of them would open a pub near a fictitious river.
I gotta say, when people on the sidebar were saying "Mackle for King Beard," I replied "Yes, but it's not every day you see a Narwhal with a beard playing an accordian."
That pretty much sums you up; it's not every day you see...(insert SJB photo here.)
Its been great Sir Jellobeard. Your work never ceased to amaze me. All of your work has been incredible, but the one that always sticks out to me is the one of you laying in the field. You were definitely one of may favorites to follow. I will miss that.
cannot express the ways you pushed the boundaries this year. Truly, you were the bling in the 27's of Whiskerino. I was continually amazed by the way you stepped up and knocked it out of the park.
Your hotsauce - amazing, your style - staggering, your ability to take it to the next level - insurmountable and your disposition is the essence of peace (I think, I wasn't in your 6 for bowling, and I was watching...)
Glad to have met your acquaintance and hope to see you in the near future.
joel, your photos still to this day astound me. and im glad that you really exist. mainly because someone of such awesome status doesnt ever seem real to me. im glad that i got to meet you and bask in your photographic glory. way to take it all the way for whiskerino.
you never told me how you did. i will anxiously await finding out how you busted that shot out. or i might forget. either way take care and good luck. until next time, peace.
