My Mp3 Players: 1. 30gb Black Zune purchased from woot.com for $80 2. My crappy Samsung phone (1gb) 3. RioVolt MP3 CD Player. This was my first portable mp3 player, and it still works and is one of the strongest players I have 4. Sansa Flash MP3 Player (1gb expandable to 5). Bought a few of these to give out at gifts, ended up with one myself cause I ran out of people to give them to. 5. Non-working 40gb Zen 1st gen. My friend Jason gave this to me in hopes that it was fixable, but it needs a new hard drive, so it's boned. 6. Sony Ericsson M600i has a great mp3 player built in, but doesn't work with sprint 7. Sony Ericsson W600i has the same mp3 player as the m600i, but again, doesn't work with sprint 8. Gameboy Advance MP3 player. This works as a standalone player without readout and as player with readout when plugged into a Gameboy Advance. This thing was super sweet when it came out, and runs off 1 AA Battery for about 10 hours. Takes a Compact Flash card 9. Sega Dreamcast VMU. Hah, I wish this was an mp3 player In regards to owning a zune: Yes I own one, yes it's pretty cool, not to mention the fact that MS released a firmware update to the gen 1 zune to make it a gen 2 zune, I can think of one fruity little company that would never think of doing something like this. I just can't bring myself to pay for a haircut. Also, today I saved $100 by not paying someone else to install my car radio. In fact, I used the opportunity to finally buy myself a soldering iron and some solder. Total time spent on car radio installation was about 45 minutes, and total amount spent on a new car stereo and installation tools (which are now tools that I own and get to use over and over), $120. To answer Mackle's question from yesterday. No, no crazy haircut. For some reason, when I take far away shots, it looks like I dyed my hair black. I did the prep (the pre-prep would be preparing the computers back in austin (which I did also)). I also am working in the booth, more as a silent computer troubleshooter. If people ask me questions, I direct them to PR. To answer benFrank, yes I work for AMD. I am a Demo-technician. I prepare computers to be used in tradeshows, and I then support them onsite. This is a shot of me in our meeting room for execs and vendors. There are computers that need supported. It's located in the Sands Conference Hall, while the flashy big "Home of tomorrow" is located about 2 miles away in the Las Vegas Convention Center. The Slot machines have been good to me (the two nearest hotels to where I am staying (The Palazzo and The Venetian) have WAY too high minimums on bets for roulette). We're talking $15 min bet. That's way too much. I'm happy with my 9 cent bets (besides, I'm actually earning on this trip, so losing $20 in three days is no big deal. Specially since one gets drinks when one gambles. My hotel suite is still the most awesome hotel suite in existence. #1 I'm not sick anymore (yay for 24 hours of sickness, then feeling better than you ever have before!) #2 Christmas came in the form of the 24 inch monitor on the left. Last week, after Christmas was over with and everything was said and done, I decided to get rid of the old old old 27 inch TV that I've had since I was in high school. I replaced it by selling it, cashing in all the change I have saved up for about 3 years, and throwing a little extra money in to buy that 24 inch monitor. It's got HDMI, D-Sub, Composite, and Component. The nintendo that's under it is a gutted NES that soon (within a month or two) will be my external eSATA hard drive enclosure. The drives will not be removeable via the cart door, but in sacrificing this benefit, I have the room to put two hard drives in it.
