justie, its been fun, thank you for being in the chat everyday. wish you could have made it to the throwdown. hope you want to grow a stache...if not see you in 09, and before that around the internet.
you may not realise it, but everyone loves you. you carried whiskerino along quite a bit this year by ruling the talkback, and your opinionated, sarcastic rantings against anything that annoyed you was always a pleasure to read.
thanks for the donuts, thanks for the laughs, thanks for being you. i'll see you in may, if not sooner.
it took me a while to laugh off a couple comments you gave me early on. but, we grow, and you've helped me do that. so i wanted to thank you. i've seen you grow too over these 4 months, and it's apparent that we are all challenged and we are all learning together and this is a good thing. fare well justie.
Justie, we never met. If you are ever near Knoxville, even if you are just driving through it, shoot me an email and let's get a beer. It's been fun witnessing you push people's well advertised emotional buttons for the last 4 months. Seriously, stay in touch.
justie, you already know that we are going to be friends outside of whiskerino so im not going to bother with the sappy hope you keep in touch with me yearbook comment.
instead i will say thank you for being you because who you are is one awesome guy. ive enjoyed our chats about half cooked chickens in eggs over the talkback and freaking everyone out and ive also enjoyed that special way you make me look foolish in front of everyone on the tb as well. justie zings are especially made and crafted with care and im glad that i could be a part of so many of them. and if i do head out to the east coast this year, im definitely making a stop to meet you and kim.
tell auntie i said hi. it doesnt matter which one really. talk to you later.
I love you bro. I'm man enough to say that. To take better photos? Just keep your eyes open and carry that camera around with you. Everywhere. All the time.
This whole thing feels like a bad yearbook signing, right? Too bad! Deal with it!
Ryan pretty much nailed it with his summary. While you were on the fence for awhile and your style of humor can be a bit hard to swallow sometimes you really did carry Whiskerino quite a bit. Especially during the day with your fantastic commentary with McShortsington and JamesC.
I've met you. I know you (kind of). You are a kind individual.. don't worry about letting that freak flag fly.
This whiskerino was different for me. While it was not as epic in feeling for me as 2005 was, I feel like I made some genuine friendships, strengthened ties with acquaintances and solidified those with some old pals.
I hope every does a better job of keeping the momentum of the community going this time.
So many of our friends endured so much during the last four months. Divorce, Debt, Depression, miscarriages, unemployment and death. It is astounding that something as stupid as a beard can bring it all together. I am really shocked at how this community seems to attract so many genuinely good people. So many talented people.
